About Me

Honestly, I am a bro kind of guy. I regularly lift weights, love sports, give out fist bumps like candy on Halloween and will regularly refer to someone as bro. I am also the kind of bro that understands the importance and value of understanding and expressing our feelings.

I attended Sam Houston State University for my undergraduate degree in Psychology and enjoyed Sam Houston so much that I stuck around to obtain my Masters in Counseling. I have worked in the mental health field for the past 11 years in a variety of roles and have been working in my private practice for 2 years.

I have worked with adults ranging from difficulties adjusting to life stressors to adults with serious mental health disorders. I have a particular interest working with men who have difficulties connecting to and communicating their feelings. Feel free to read more about this in my blog page. I can relate to at risk adolescents and have a track record of helping them find a different path. I enjoy working with couples at all stages in their relationship in helping them learn new ways of interacting and re-connecting with one another.

After meeting with me there are a few things in which I can promise you:

  • You will feel heard and understood
  • You will feel comfortable and at ease
  • You will be asked questions that will make you think
  • You will meet someone who is equally invested in your recovery
